Erziehung ist wie ein saurer Apfel.

Erst sieht er lecker aus, wenn man hineinbeißt ist er sauer, doch im Nachhinein ist man meist froh, ihn gegessen zu haben.

My homework for pedagogics class. Topic was to design a small postcard with a "Education is..."-saying you were supposed to think of yourself and add some picture to it.

Education is like a sour apple.

First it looks delicious, when you take a bite, it's sour but most of the time you are happy that you ate it when you are finished.
